“Say It” is the lead single from Tory Lanez’s debut studio album I Told You, released July 15, 2015, through Mad Love and Interscope Records. Self-produced alongside Pop Wansel, Toro, Fbeezy, and FlameGod, the track samples Brownstone’s “If You Love Me” for its bouncy, synth-heavy groove, where Lanez demands proof of love beyond fame and money with his melodic falsetto and playful bars. It launched his mainstream breakthrough, drawing Weeknd and Future comparisons for its sultry R&B-rap fusion during his Fargo Fridays mixtape run.

The August 10 music video, directed by Walu, features former Vine star Wolf Tyla and racked up over 300 million views, peaking at number 23 on Billboard Hot 100, number 10 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and number one on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic charts.
