New series 👹SPIRITS🏮Today’s original character is a fox-born attendant of the Year God. He walks between frames and carries good fortune forward.

Straw for protection, bells for luck, rice for renewal —
and a blessing in every step.

Process:
Concept sketched from Japanese New Year symbolism, then developed visually using AI tools combined with stop-motion inspired texture references. Final touches added with traditional video editing and compositing.

The goal wasn’t realism — but to capture the magic of puppetry built from straw, rope, and felt — and animated one breath at a time.
