Brahmaputra.
Series of Cascades and rapids of the  trans boundary Brahmaputra river drenching the plains of Eastern India. This river seen here from Arunachal Pradesh marks it's entry into India via the Himalayan mountains from Tibet. This glacier fed river has the distinction of being the highest sediment yield in the world. The highest number of hydroelectric dams planned in recent years invites disastrous impact for biodiversity, forest, people and environment.
