The director of a German immersion preschool in Park Slope, Brooklyn, has been arrested after allegedly embezzling $2.75 million in tuition and spending at least $350,000 on WWE tickets, including VIP meet-and-greet passes where she and her three kids hung out with star wrestlers, according to the DOJ and the New York Post.

Murielle Misczak, 43, earned $40,000 a year as director of KinderHaus Brooklyn. A civil lawsuit filed by the school alleges she was living far beyond her means, paying for two Park Slope apartments and taking trips "often every other weekend, enjoying plush resorts, VIP access to WWE events, and first-class amenities, much of which she documented on her public Instagram."

She also allegedly spent $650,000 total on travel and entertainment, $150,000 on food delivery, and hundreds of thousands on luxury goods, according to federal authorities.

When the school asked about her lifestyle, she allegedly claimed her mother in Basel, Switzerland was funding it. The lawsuit states: "Of course, this purported beneficiary was a ruse."
​
The school's principal discovered the alleged scheme in October 2025 and had to use her own personal savings to cover payroll, according to the lawsuit.
​
The New York Post noted: "It is unclear why she is so enthusiastic about professional wrestling."
​
She faces up to 20 years in prison. She is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
