Hi friends! Thank you for following along with me on my design journey, I’m so excited to share a little bit more about this part of my life with you! For now, this page is serving as a component to my semester-long project in my Web Design class, but I’m hoping to keep it active throughout the duration of my design career! 

As a young black female pursuing a career in the graphic design industry, I have come to realize that there aren’t that many other designers that look like me. I’m hoping that creating this website will not only serve as my portfolio, but that it will also highlight some things about black culture and change the narrative!

The inspiration for my page comes from the classic 90s sitcom, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air! If you know anything about the show you know about the bright neon colors that are showcased while the credits are rolling. I love the retro vibe that it gives off and thought that utilizing a similar color palette would be an awesome way to give credit to the show.
