I think I have been conditioned to believe that a good day looks a certain way.

Productive. Clean. Organized. Moving toward something measurable. A day where things went according to plan and the plan was a good one.

And then I have days like yesterday where nothing goes according to plan and I am deeply uncomfortable for portions of it and I end up somewhere I did not expect covered in something I cannot immediately identify and completely, genuinely happy.

I think those days are trying to tell me something about what I actually need versus what I have been trained to pursue.
I do not think I need more optimized days. I think I need more days where the plan dissolves and I find out what I do without one.

Yesterday was that day. It was perfect. Nothing about it was perfect.
