It flies! Congrats to Sikorsky/lockheedmartin and boeing on the first flight today of the SB>1 Defiant, which took to the air at Sikorsky's facility down here in West Palm Beach, Florida. The aircraft lifted off at 7:47 a.m. and the flight lasted for more than 30 minutes, during which time it successfully performed low-speed flight maneuvers.
