## Caption

Writing has helped me cope with my past. Today I wrote an extremely tough scene and my FMC had the redemptive justice she deserved. I always feel bad giving my characters, my traume but I hope it also bring comfort and justice to listeners/readers especially with they have had to go through horrendous events. Some people also know we have been going through a lot personal wise and traveling back and forth to deal with stuff. So.... LOTS OF EMOTIONS 

I also reviewed other books to make sure I delicately place this in the book, versus going for shock value because I do not want to traumatize readers, with such sensitive context. In addition that provided hard feelings to process. It is all a balance.
 
Writing hard scenes takes a toll on you physically and mentally, but I try to get the 'bad vibes' or icky feelings out through screaming, dancing, head banging, cuddling my dog's/husband, exercise and also seeing my therapist. Take care and make sure you always check trigger warnings. I place those in my book and now place them in certain chapters.
