Siniša Mihajlović was one of football’s most iconic defenders and arguably the greatest free-kick specialist in the history of the sport. His career spanned two decades, beginning with domestic success in Yugoslavia before he moved to Italy, where he became a pillar of Serie A’s golden era in the 1990s and early 2000s.

He famously won the European Cup with Red Star Belgrade in 1991 and later claimed league titles with both Lazio and Inter Milan. Renowned for his devastating left foot, he holds the record for the most free-kick goals in Serie A history (28), a feat he shares with Andrea Pirlo.
