I grew up in Hammonton, New Jersey 🍇
Small town. Blueberry capital of the world.

That’s where I first fell in love with bodybuilding 💪

There was a legendary gym called Hollywood East — old school dungeon style. Rusty weights. Hardcore environment. The kind of place where the old school juice heads used to train 🏋️‍♂️

Even IFBB Pro Johnny O. Jackson used to train there sometimes. Seeing guys like that when I was 14 years old made bodybuilding feel real to me.

At home I actually grew up in a good family.

My mom worked two jobs 👩‍👦
My dad worked construction and overtime 👷‍♂️

We weren’t rich… but they made sure we always had food on the table and a roof over our heads.

When I was younger my whole life revolved around football 🏈

I played from the time I was 6 years old until I graduated high school.

But if I’m being honest…

I didn’t take school seriously.

I cared about football, girls, and hitting people as hard as I could.

But during football season I was locked in.

My friends were doing beer bongs at parties 🍻
I was drinking a gallon of water preparing for the next game.

After high school reality hit.

I wasn’t big enough for college football and I didn’t take school seriously enough academically.

By 17 years old I was making about $7,000 a week selling marijuana.

That’s when my life started going down a very different road…
