Coécrit avec son frère Wale Davies, ce long métrage semi-autobiographique nous transporte à Lagos en 1993, au moment où l’annulation de l’élection présidentielle plonge le Nigeria dans une crise politique majeure.

Le temps d’une journée, deux frères tentent d’apprivoiser la présence d’un père aussi fascinant qu’insaisissable, tandis que la tension monte dans la ville. Entre intimité familiale et tumulte historique, le film dessine le portrait délicat d’un lien fragile.
