## Caption

Meet Messier 91, one of the faintest members of the Messier catalog (a collection of celestial bodies that can be seen from Earth with a backyard telescope). It is located 60 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation Coma Berenices, and it is one of over a thousand galaxies that make up the Virgo cluster.

Messier 91 is a spiral galaxy like our own Milky Way. It is also an anemic galaxy, meaning that it creates new stars at a lower rate than other spiral galaxies.

This image was snapped by NASAHubble, but you can see it with your own eyes! For the best chance of spotting this galaxy, use a medium telescope in the month of May.
