Exactly one year ago, I was in research mode — watching The Isaiah Ashley (me.zayy ) on YouTube, trying to figure out what life in Thailand could look like for someone like me.

Isaiah was one of the few Black American content creators showing us what was possible out here — and at the time, I was preparing to make the move myself.

Now, one year later… we just wrapped filming a vlog for his channel — this time, featuring my journey to Thailand.

It was a full-circle moment.

We come from different regions — Isaiah speaks to the Black American community, I speak to the Caribbean and our diaspora — but our missions are aligned:

🔑 To show our people the opportunities that Asia presents.

Many years ago, our parents left the Caribbean for the US, UK, or Canada in search of a better life.

Now, we are migrating to Asia — not just for adventure, but for:

A better quality of life

New economic opportunities

And a chance to thrive on our own terms.

We both use our content to ensure our communities know: you have options. This life is possible.
