LIONS POSTGAME: Senior Kate Berkus produced a memorable scoring performance on Senior Night with a team-high nine goals, while junior Viv Devir added three goals and some momentum-changing plays, as the JSerra Girls Lacrosse team rallied in the second half to defeat the Edison Chargers 17-12 in a nonleague clash on Tuesday at JSerra Catholic High School.

Berkus spoke about the team battling back from a deficit in the second half by trusting each other and her teammates hard work helping to set her up in prime scoring opportunities.

Devir discussed making a big impact on the game in a variety of ways, getting her coach’s mid-game (and mid-interview) encouragement, and how the tough battle with the Chargers can help the Lions as the season progresses.
