## Caption

I saw this fruit dip on Food Network about 15 years ago when Paula Dean made it and I’ve been making it ever since. I love to have a fruit platter put out to accompany a dessert buffet when I entertain and this is always what I use now. The dip can be made a couple days in advance and kept refrigerated until ready to serve.  I always make this for Easter because it’s beautiful and refreshing.

Fruit Platter with Lemon Pineapple Cream

One 8-ounce pkg. cream cheese, softened 
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 lemon, zested and juiced
Pineapple juice

Whip the cream cheese with the powdered sugar. Whip cream and granulated sugar together until it
forms soft peaks. Combine beaten cream cheese, whipped cream, lemon juice and zest;
continue to beat, adding just enough pineapple juice to achieve desired consistency. Serve with fresh fruit
