If you’ve wondered where I’ve been, here's a short recap.

2018 – Shared my fertility journey, then finally got pregnant via IVF. The whole time I was dealing with perinatal depression. 😓

2019 – During my pregnancy, I developed Pre-eclampsia, so got induced at 37 weeks. There were complications, but to the glory of God we made it. After 7 years of being married, we finally had our miracle child. 🙌

Postpartum depression hit hard.
My body changed.
My mind changed.
My confidence changed.
My identity felt shaken.

And underneath all of it?

I was still an ambitious, overachieving, perfectionist.
A doer, a fixer, hustling my way through life.
Always doing. Always building. Always chasing.
Afraid of missing out.
Afraid of falling behind.

God said: “Sit still.”
But rest felt like laziness.
Slowing down felt like failure.

That season was uncomfortable.
My body was restless.
My mind worried about everything I was “missing.”

I ended up in the ER multiple times because of hypertension from pre-eclampsia. That was not even my wake-up call.

After my birthday in 2019, I committed to my health — lost 30 pounds in 3 months.
Then 2020 happened.
COVID. Stress. Anxiety. Disrupted routines.
My son suddenly regressed, and I spiraled.
So I gained all the weight back.

2021 — I tried to get my “old life” back.
Tried to build bigger.
Tried to hustle smarter.
It wasn’t working.

Then my son got diagnosed with Autism.
And I knew…
God was asking me to do something radical.

So I left everything and my spirit finally felt peace.
I pulled back.
Retreated.
Started saying NO.
Chose healing over hype.
Wholeness over applause.
Obedience over opportunity.
Peace over performance.
Progress over Perfection.

So I stayed still and learned to rest.
To be present.
To stop performing.
To stop proving.
To stop running ahead.

The last few years weren’t just quiet.
They were consecrated because God was doing something new in me and through me.

And now…
It’s birthing season.

For more details of what happened, what God asked of me, what I learned, and how I grew, then....
