Fighting for the rights of humans and animals is our duty. Can you imagine that today tracking of animals happens through tagging (cutting a hole in the ear of animals). It pains me to consider how have we not innovated here faster?

So happy to invest in animalpassport Global Animal Passport Registration which through years of deep study has created biometric scanning for animals, enabling farmers to track and manage livestock losses, animal sale and transfer and beyond this the ability for us to provide the history of where an animal started before it gets to our tables! 

Animal traceability is becoming more important as we  track the journey of animals and their products throughout the entire supply chain—from farm to table. This ensures food safety, quality, and authenticity, while also meeting regulatory, ethical, and sustainability standards.

When I studied this post investment I realised that no one has been able to crack this - yet these young talented Pakistanis in a remote part of Paksitan have innovated and solved for this.

Beyond this what shocked me most was that most of Zakat (mandatory charitable tax for Muslims) is likely to be invalidated around the world. For us Muslims we offer Zakat by giving an animal to be donated as food and the following islamic guidance indicates that where the animal has any defect ( a hole in the ear would count as such) it cannot be given in Zakat.

We have a significant responsibility to take care of not only our planet but everything within that from being cautious on how we step on the ground to compassion for animals we have any beautiful stories where a person was granted paradise just by providing water to a cat, emphasising the importance of empathy towards animals.
