Tomorrow, we send off a 1st grader and a kindergartener.

Thea and Nathan are heading back to school — two full-time students with new rolly backpacks, lunchboxes packed, and hearts ready for the next chapter.

Unpopular opinion? I’m so ready.

Not because summer wasn’t beautiful — it was.
We vacation-hopped, stayed up late, danced in sprinklers, navigated three big personalities in one shared living space, and consumed our body weight in ice cream.

But this mama is ready for rhythm. For deeper exhale. For the intentional pace of the Waldorf school year.

Thea is entering 1st grade with curiosity and confidence.
Nathan is stepping into K with that gentle boldness that’s just so him.

And each of them sat down tonight to set their goals — from tying shoes to making new friends, from reading a full book to learning how to knit as good as Grandma.

We’re walking into this year with reverence, gratitude, and a whole lot of love.
