After hearing ourselves say “no” way too much, Brit and I decided something had to change. So we made a Yes Day jar. 🫙 

Two jars, actually. One labeled BANK, and one labeled YES DAY. Every time the kids went above and beyond — helping, being kind, showing real teamwork — we dropped a gem in the jar. 💎 

It took nearly a year to fill it.
But yesterday… they cashed it in.

🪄 A midweek Disneyland day.
🍭 Snacks all day.
🍨 Dessert before dinner.
The kind of memory you feel forever.

Yes, we still have boundaries.
But we’re trying to focus more on the “yes.”
Because parenting isn’t just about rules — it’s about rewards that matter.
And reminding our kids (and ourselves) that kindness counts.
