Today is Donor Conception Awareness Day.

And to our family — it’s so much more than a date on the calendar.

It’s part of our story.
It’s how our hearts found each other.

When we started building our family, we knew love would be the foundation — but we also knew we’d need help from someone we might never meet, yet would change our lives forever.

Thanks to resources that didn’t even exist a generation ago — from inclusive clinics, to donor matching programs, to books like Our Hearts Match by expectinganything — families like ours aren’t just possible. They’re celebrated.

Our kids know they are deeply loved, deeply wanted, and part of a story that starts with science and grows with so much heart.

Today, we’re honoring every path to parenthood.
Every family that didn’t arrive in the “traditional” way but showed up with infinite love anyway.

And we’re especially thankful to live in a time where families like ours can say proudly, our hearts match. Always have. Always will.
