Every February 13th, we celebrate our Valentine’s Day—because for us, this day holds even more magic. It’s the day we started dating (in April) but also the exact day both of us proposed to each other (yep, double proposal energy!✨), sealing a love story that’s been unfolding since we were 19. 🥹💍

It was sweet. It was perfectly us. And it was filled with the kind of joy that only comes from finding your forever best friend. 💖

Now for some fun facts from our proposal day, for those who don’t know (and for those who love a little Sharon Moms lore):

💍 Brit proposed first—she couldn’t wait! Even though…
❌ Brit swore we wouldn’t get engaged near Valentine’s Day… but then we did anyway. 😆
🏡 It all happened in our apartment—just us two—while I was Skyping my best friend (who later became our joint maid of honor!) 📞👰

And a little Valentine’s Day throwback:
🐸 The first gift I ever gave Brit? A green stuffed frog named Rachel (yes, after Rachel Maddow 💙), back when we were just friends—two months before I told her how I really felt. ❤️

16 years, 3 kids, and countless adventures later, I’d say that frog was a pretty solid investment. 😉
