Where do I even begin? Kathy and I have a relationship that has surpassed the realm of hairdresser/client. She has become like family to me and is truly such an amazing person.

I started cutting her hair back in 2008 - I was her first hairdresser after she had beat breast cancer. Due to her cancer, her hair textured had changed from what she referred to as “straight Japanese hair” into a wavy texture that she was unfamiliar with. It was my job to help navigate these changes for her. 

Over the years, her hair has returned to its original texture but her color has changed. 

Instead of coloring her hair to look natural she has seized the opportunity to explore with fun pastel fashion colors on her newly acquired white and grey hair. Sometimes she even brings in Japanese anime photos as inspiration! She is so much fun and truly one of the best people I have met through my career as a stylist.
