Healing isn’t just about feeling better.
Healing is about becoming unavailable to the versions of people who benefited from your pain.

When you start healing, your energy shifts.
Your boundaries get stronger.
Your nervous system calms.
Your standards rise.

And suddenly, the people who fed off your brokenness feel uncomfortable around you.

Not because you changed for the worse but because you stopped shrinking to be digestible.

This is the part of healing no one prepares you for:
You will outgrow relationships that only survived because you were wounded.
You will lose access to people who needed you insecure, anxious, or over-giving.
You will no longer be relatable to those who can’t meet you in wholeness.

And that doesn’t mean you’re cold.
It means you’re regulated.
It means you’re rooted.
It means you’re no longer negotiating your worth for connection.

God doesn’t heal you so you can go back to survival mode.
He heals you so you can walk away without guilt, choose peace over chaos, and align with people who honor your healed self, not exploit your old wounds.

If people fall away as you heal, let them.
They were assigned to a season, not your destiny.

Your healed energy isn’t too much.
It’s just no longer available to what drains you.
