WE WON 🥳!!! But here’s the story behind this vinoinfluencers award..

Spain was the country that inspired me to step into the world of wine and gave me the courage to find myself. My first solo trip was to Cordoba at 20 years old, volunteering. A year later, I moved to Valencia for Erasmus. There, I had my wine spark, and the dream I carried as a kid: to see the world and, through it, to discover myself. 🙇‍♀️

Since then, countless trips followed, but I often felt the urge to escape, never belonging. Even Wine Gini — at times confused with my identity — was born from that search. For years I thought “just being Georgia” wasn’t enough. After 9 years of building and creating, I know it has always been more than enough. It has always been me.

Years later, Spain grants me this huge recognition. In a way, this moment feels like closing a circle. For me this award doesn’t just represent destinations or vineyards. It’s about the inner journey, the one that never stops. The one where, every time, you discover a new side of yourself while chasing what you love. ✨

It all began during the financial crisis in Greece, when I decided to quit everything and chase what made me feel alive. I learned that wherever you go, you carry yourself as your most loyal co-traveler, each time a kinder, more caring, more aligned version. I no longer need to run or escape. I want to be present. Choose where I am with all my heart.

9 years have changed me in incredible ways. I feel blessed, grateful, wiser, and ready for the chapters ahead. Wine has always been the perfect meeting point of everything I love. And through it, producers, brands, associations have taken me to places, little Georgia could have never imagined. 🙏

I dedicate this award to every one who, through their life journey, move closer to what they’ve dreamed of. Because the journey is never about reaching Ithaca. It’s about finding yourself.
