How I landed a free stay at one of Chicago best hotel as a junior in high school with zero experience ⬇️⬇️

1️⃣ Research!! It took me days to find all of the right emails to 25 different hotel - keep everything organized in a spreadsheet. 
2️⃣ Create a media kit. Once you find hotels contact information gather your best photos that you think would represent travel and tourism to create a media kit with your instagram stats. 
3️⃣ Create a general pitch template to send these hotels- this should included who you are, why you want to work together, what you will offer for them, ex.
4️⃣ More research! Once you have a generic pitch make sure to research every hotel and add in details to your pitch that are significant to that hotel (rooftop, pool, restaurant name ex).
5️⃣ Small details matter! Once you have drafted your full pitch make sure to add a link to your socials, a link or screenshot of your media kit, and title the subject something like “ ______ hotel X first and last name influencers collaboration”. Make yourself look as good and experienced as possible (even if your not😉)
6️⃣ Send out the email on a Monday/Tuesday morning- make sure to FOLLOW UP a week or so later if they have not responded. 

It takes a lot of dedication and even if you send out 30 emails you still may not get a yes from any. Don’t get discouraged and keep trying because there are hotels/ Airbnbs that would love to have more content.
