Dharavi, Mumbai—home to one of the world’s largest leather industries, built on the backs of exploited workers and slaughtered animals. Most cows are spared under India’s principle of Ahimsa (non-violence), while goats and sheep are brutally killed for profit.

If Ahimsa means compassion, why does it stop at cows? Selective compassion is just another illusion of the system known as The Meatrix—just like the idea that leather is “just a byproduct.” It’s not. It’s a business fueled by supply, demand, and suffering.
