Capricorn New Moon prepares us for the Fire Horse Year.

This New Moon arrives grounded and potent, with the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, and Mercury all gathered in Capricorn in Uttarāṣāḍhā, the Nakshatra of victory.

This is not the victory of applause or conquest.
It is the victory that comes after endurance.
Like a mother who has moved through intensity, surrender, and devotion, and then feels the moment when the child is placed on her chest. The process is complete. Life has arrived.

Uttarāṣāḍhā teaches that true triumph comes after sustained effort. After staying when it would have been easier to leave. After carrying something long past the moment it felt comfortable.

This New Moon is the final lunation before the Lunar New Year, marking our transition from the Year of the Wooden Snake into the Year of the Fire Horse.

The Snake year has been about shedding.
Shedding identities, skins, patterns, and old ways of being in relationship with life.

In the human body, women understand this rhythm intimately. Each month, the womb sheds its lining. The bleed is a ceremony of release, a clearing that makes space for life. Sometimes shedding is not a loss. Sometimes it is the necessary closing of a cycle.

This lunation holds both.
The shedding of the womb.
And the birth of what this year has been shaping.

What you have carried through the Wooden Snake has now arrived. This is the moment of fulfillment. Of nourishment. Of letting yourself feel the reality of what has been created before you begin feeding it with the fire, movement, and momentum of the Horse.

Tonight, sit somewhere quiet or in nature. Feel your breath in your belly. Notice what has completed itself without force.

Thank you deeply to everyone who joined our New Moon circle this morning. Your presence, devotion, and listening made the space what it was.

If you feel called to join our future circles or our monthly live community gatherings, send me a DM. I would love to welcome you in.
