Cleaning out your follower list is like weeding a garden—it’s tedious, but it makes the "real" stuff look so much better. 

Having a bunch of bot accounts (you know, the ones with no profile pic and names like user_9823475) just messes up your engagement because they’ll never actually like or comment on what you post.

Here is the "non-techy" way to handle it and some tags to help you find your people:

The "Personal" Clean-Up Guide

On Instagram: 

Tap your profile pic → tap your Follower count. Look at the very top for a category called "Flagged for review" or "Potential Spam." Instagram has already rounded up the bots for you there—you can just hit "Remove All" and be done with it. 

Or you keep an eye on the deactivated accounts and remove them 🙏
