But not of what it truly is ...
In the depths of this nation, love flows like a hidden river
Freedom is woven into its culture
Humanity rises above every religion

I see joy blossoming
the soaring flight of humankind
Love is joy, Love is the beginning of humanity

Can you imagine why thousands of these people were killed?
Because, as #AhmadShamloo writes:
Love must be hidden in the back room of the house
for the one who knocks at the door at night
has come to kill the light

Read the literature of Iran
believe me, it is a lesson in history for humanity 
And if you fail to see it, the poet warns:
The drunken triumphant devil
will witness the feast of our mourning ...

درباره ایران شنیده اید. اما نه انچه هست! در اعماق این ملت عشق جاری است. آزادی در فرهنگشان نهادینه است. انسانیت بر هر مذهبی چیره است. هوشنگ ابتهاج در این شعر میگوید: مبینم شکفتن شادی را، پرواز بلند آدمیمزادی را، عشق شادی است، عشق آغاز ادمی زادیست. میتوانی تصور کنی چرا هزاران نفر از این مردم را کشتند؟
 احمد شاملو می سراید:  عشق را در پستوی خانه نهان باید کرد، آنکه بر در میکوبد شباهنگام، به کشتن چراغ آمده است. ادبیات ایران زمین را بخوانید، باور کنید درس تاریخ است! انسانیت است! اگر نبینید ابلیس پیروز مست، سور عزای ما را خواهد دید!
