There are a few mistakes I see women make when they’re starting a business and I’ve made most of them myself.

The first is waiting until everything is perfect before starting.

You don’t need perfect. You need to begin.
Because clarity comes from doing, not thinking.

The second is spending too much time on branding.

The logo, the colours, the website, none of that matters if you’re not actually selling something.

The third is avoiding selling. A lot of people build things, but never actually ask anyone to buy. And that’s where things can stall or go stagnant. 

The fourth is comparing yourself too early.
You’re looking at someone else who’s years ahead, and measuring yourself against that, it doesn’t make sense. Imagine I was comparing myself to Zara? We have different goals. 

And the fifth is giving up too quickly. Most things don’t work straight away. That’s part of the process. You gotta keep at it.
