👩‍👧 Diversion programs for mothers of minor children
⚖️ Gender-responsive programming in jails
🏠 Transitional housing specifically for women

🏛️ STATE:
🧠 Expanded access to mental health and substance use treatment
💼 Fair chance hiring policies
🤰 Pregnancy and postpartum protections for incarcerated women

FEDERAL:
💰 Funding for gender-responsive reentry programs
🔄 Criminal justice reform that addresses women’s pathways to incarceration
👶 Support for children of incarcerated parents

Policy change happens when we raise our voices together. Our elected officials need to hear that gender-responsive justice matters to their constituents. 🗳️
