## Caption

A small detail of a large self portrait I've been working on whilst taking a break from social media. 
I missed instagram but taking time away allowed me to focus on painting in a methodical way without self interruption. It's a pattern I will continue. Perhaps month off month on. 
I am now starting a landscape series which I will show merriwagallery
In December. I look forward to immersing myself in the beauty of the Australian landscape.
