This also happened in the studio on Monday. This is George gdolan117 my son. Another full-circle moment for me as a dad. Not only do I get the chance to cut hair side by side with my son rhysdolan_barber, but now I also get to play music side by side with my other son.

When this album was first written and recorded, George was 12. He didn’t even start playing piano until he was about 15, and now, after years of graft, dedication, and earning his degree, he’s playing on this record with me. That alone is enough to knock me sideways.

But there was even more nostalgia wrapped around the day. ryprecordings sits on the same parade where I had my first job as a paper boy… and later, where I got my very first job in hairdressing. All just minutes from where I was born and raised in Rayners Lane. It felt poetic like life looping back on itself in the best possible way.

Honestly, I can’t wait for you to hear this remastered album and share this moment in time with us. Thank you for all your support… and thank you, gdolan117, for being so bloody talented
