Behind the scenes: GO.ROQIT is live (well… nearly) 

Back in 2017, I launched a recruitment company for hair & beauty.
Consultants. Systems. All the corporate bollocks.
It lasted 9 months.

Why? The industry wasn’t ready. Nobody wanted to pay. Nobody saw the value.

And the very last interview?
A candidate turned up drunk, high… and offered sexual favours to get the job. 🤯
Funny, but not funny. It should never have got that far.

That’s when I realised: this industry doesn’t just have a recruitment problem.
It has a survival problem.

⚡ Fast forward to 2025:
Recruitment is worse.
Facebook groups full of “Need a stylist TOMORROW. Inbox me. No timewasters.” 😂

So I said: f* it.**
Armed with zero bank balance, too much coffee + a laptop, I taught myself code, bullied AI into helping, and built a rocket. Go.ROQIT.

Here’s the deal 👇

✅ Data that actually makes sense of our industry.
