Three months ago, I joined Opus join.opus as a founding member of the South African chapter and it’s quickly become one of the most meaningful communities I’ve been part of and also so intentional. Thanks jonocmore tallulahisrael 

For those unfamiliar, Opus is a private global network of founders, operators, and investors built around real connection, shared ambition, and helping each other grow. It’s not about collecting contacts, it’s about building community.

While I was in London recently, I checked the Opus app and saw that an Opus House Party was happening, it was a room filled with inspiring people from New York, Dubai, London, and beyond. 

Founders, funders, builders each conversation sparked something. We spoke about business, vision, leadership, and life. And now, a few weeks later, I’m having follow-ups with some of those same people across industries and borders.

I met aligned humans who stretched my thinking and open new doors.

And speaking of doors, we’ve just opened our first round of dilutive funding, which we shared with the Opus community and broader mailing list. The interest and support have been incredibly encouraging. I’m learning as I go, figuring it out in real time and it feels like the start of something powerful. #opus #london #community
