Receiving the Technology Game Changer Award from glamour_sa is a honor. 

To be recognized by such a prestigious condenast publication is a dream I once had as a little girl, flipping through the pages of powerful women in vanityfair , voguemagazine , gq , and glamourmag , imagining that one day I would be in that magazine myself. And here I am today, standing proud as the Technology Game Changer, hoping to inspire many generations to come.

This year has been incredibly challenging and difficult. Although it may have seemed like a year filled with recognition, I also faced significant mental struggles. The pressure, lack of support, and immense responsibilities took a toll on me.

I learned that sometimes, you have to be your own hero—nobody is coming to save you but you. With no rich family or much support, I forged my own path and created opportunities where none existed.

Being in a male-dominated industry comes with its own unique challenges, but I couldn’t be prouder of myself for pushing boundaries and continuing to move forward. I am an African female leading two tech startups _lawyeredup boardroomapp , I’m extremely proud of how far I have come despite the challenges and circumstances. I never gave up! 

To every woman out there: do it broke! Do it tired! Do it alone! God placed these dreams in our hearts for a reason, and it’s our duty to pursue them relentlessly.
