😮Can you believe this neighborhood is hardly 30 years old?

Jakriborg is a housing estate in Hjärup, placed exactly between Malmö and Lund. Colorful buildings are arranged among narrow streets, passages and corridors. The style of the buildings is inspired by pre-industrial urban architecture from the Baltic coast and the North Sea - when strolling through streets of Jakriborg, you feel the atmosphere of cities of Hansa: Lübeck or Gdansk! 🙂
Despite its vintage climate, the estate is relatively new - it was built in the late nineties as a project of two brothers, JAn and KRIster Berggren (hence the name Jakriborg).

Jakriborg to osiedle leżące w Hjärup, dokładnie między Malmö a Lund. Kolorowe budynki w stylu zupełnie niepodobnym do tradycyjnej szwedzkiej architektury, rozmieszczone są wśród krętych uliczek, przejść i korytarzy. Całe osiedle wyłączone jest z ruchu samochodowego, więc dzieciństwo tam to istna bajka. Styl budynków inspirowany jest preindustrialną architekturą miejską z wybrzeży Bałtyku oraz Morza Północnego - przechadzając się tamtejszymi uliczkami, poczujecie klimat miast Hansy: Lubeki lub... Gdańska!🙂
Mimo starodawnego klimatu, osiedle jest stosunkowo nowe - zostało wybudowane pod koniec lat dziewięćdziesiątych jako projekt dwóch braci, JAna i KRIstera Berggren (stąd nazwa Jakriborg). Obecnie zamieszkuje je ponad 500 rodzin.
