I’ve learned the thing that robs most people of peace…is the conversation they keep avoiding.

That tension in your chest, the thoughts in your head when you lay down at night?

They aren’t worth it.

Those feelings are the weight of words left unsaid.

The problems you keep piling up, hoping they will just magically disappear..well, I got news for you, they won’t.

They grow. They compound. They eat at you.

What I have learned as I get older… I’d rather face it head-on then have the anxiety around not having the conversation itself. 

You’re not gonna ruin my day by telling me the truth. If it’s the truth… well then that’s what we’re going to deal with. 

Can’t fix the issue and move forward if we don’t talk about it that’s for damn sure. 

As I’ve gotten older I realize that real peace, peace of mind,is worth way more than what’s in your bank account.

Stop running from that conversation and learn to run towards it. 

You will be glad you did later I promise you that.
