I received a donation  for Haiti this morning from a friend who wishes to be anonymous.

The gift was very sizable but the message it came along with it was even more impactful.

When I had the conversation with this person stated that the gift of giving should not be done because of tax purposes at the end of the year but rather the gift of giving should be because you believe in the cause itself and you want to help.

This man is a good man.
.
One i respect a great deal.
.
He specifically wanted to donate the morning of Jan 1 because the gift is simply just that...
.
A gift.
.
A true intention.
.
A gift of hope for change.
.
Not a look at me.
.
Not a donation for recognition or notoriety. .
A donation of belief.
.
A belief that one small community at a time we can change the world for the better.
.
I learned a long time ago that if you wanted to receive you must first give.
.
So i ask this of you this new year... if you’re looking to receive, think of what you have most to give.
.
Ask not what Someone can do for you, but rather, what together we can do for each other...
.
What is your strength?
.
Maybe it’s time...
.
Maybe it’s money...
.
Maybe it’s your skill...
.
But at the end of the day... the world can only become what you want it to be if we only learn to give or skill that god gave us.

what can you do for someone that literally do Nothing in return for you?

What do you have to give to the world?

My life will Be forever dedicated to making it a better place than when i found it.

I still don’t know why I’m here for certain but I do know I’m going to base it off the premise of giving.

Giving to the children of god.
.
I’ve believe in my heart that god loves all children the same... he gives the gifts to others to as a test to provide for those children the best way possible to see how good we can make it.

I grew today from a silent action... but because it gave me strength in my faith in what I believe.
