Two souls yearning, seeking warmth.
Their laughter filled the hollow days,
A fragile bond in love’s cruel maze.

But in this age, where promises fray,
Where hearts falter, and love slips away,
Their story fell to the weight of time,
Another tale lost, another climb.

Did you know? They’d read it, too—
Forty-two percent will bid adieu.
Not failure, just fate, they’d silently say,
But truth haunts in its own dark way.

He walks alone, she turns the page,
Two lives torn by a quiet rage.
Not anger at each other’s name,
But at a world that treats love the same.

A statistic now, just one more tale,
Another ship lost to the gale.
But even in sorrow, there’s a trace,
Of lessons learned in a fleeting embrace.

Perhaps in love, we risk and fall,
A reminder we’re human after all.
For every loss, a seed is sown,
And broken hearts find strength alone.
