Peter Hitchens has written yet another wildly uninformed piece—this time claiming that ADHD and dyslexia are "made up" disorders. It’s mind-blowing that someone with zero medical or mental health qualifications gets to publish misinformation like this on a platform as massive as The Mail Online.

This isn’t just ignorance—it’s dangerous. The Mail, one of the most widely read media platforms in the world, operates with zero accountability. Even IPSO, the so-called press regulator, admits they have no jurisdiction over what Mail Online publishes. So, Hitchens and other paid gobs-on-sticks get free rein to spread stigma and misinformation unchecked.

The irony? On the same site, another journalist is touting a carnivore diet as a "cure" for ADHD. So, which is it—does ADHD exist, or is it something you can magically "heal" by eating nothing but steak? This is the level of nonsense we’re dealing with.

People with ADHD and dyslexia already face enough challenges without influential media figures invalidating their struggles. This kind of reckless journalism only fuels stigma and leaves people even more misunderstood. It’s time for media accountability.
