Beautiful Nightmares releasing this Sunday! November 6th! It is entirely produced by ME! This is the single of the entire project that has been in the making for the past two years! I remember I started working on this right after I finished Ecstatic Love and man, this is the beginning of releasing the entire story. Imma release these songs one by one, starting with this: Beautiful Nightmares.

It’s everything that inspires me, everything I love. I always call it, Beautiful Nightmares is when saints of the 道 carrying the pentatonic lotus meet space-synth cowboys while inside a Tang-dynasty styled spaceship. It is a space odyssey surrounded by cherry blossoms petals flying in the wind as the electronic orchestra plays. All for that sensation of timelessness, eternal peace and joy.

Coz in the end, da ren, is just a vehicle fuelled by my soul’s passion, as it rises and embraces freedom into the realms of the unexplored alone, ringing back gifts of unconditional love and joy for humanity. In doing so, achieving the most important thing I could ask, redemption for my soul: self-acceptance.

我从小在温哥华与重庆的交叉中长，在中西方文化中寻找着自我。在不属群的人群中寻找着那神秘的源头，使得我对艺术和音乐的认知被多重文化给熏染。其中，我所追求的那超越感，艺术的源头，使我不停的往前走，不停的创造，突破自我，从中寻找自我。我自从6岁便开始学习钢琴，但直到17岁才开始唱歌练嗓。其中，上学时期我便热爱创作，各种歌曲，从流行乐到古典音乐，都有尝试过写作。

我前往多伦多大学就读那一年，2018年底，开始了我的艺术探索，并且在我生日那一天，2019年的4月4日，发布了我人生中第一次的作品，一张9首歌曲的专辑。并且在多伦多取得了成功，播放量上了百万，开了人生中第一次的演唱会。同时在国内也受到了重庆、成都各位歌手与艺人们的认可与支持。

但是在那之后，我便陷入了对自我认知的深渊，以至于让我不停的探索，追求如何才能最完整的体现我所想要的艺术表达。对自身所追求的完美所导致的强迫使我一度忘记了自己的初衷，那内心深处所想表达的纯真与热爱在时隔两年半的时间里被身边的朋友再度激发。那最原始的热爱，最前卫的表达风范，最独特的个性，和那最深刻的认知，深深的体现在了Beautiful Nightmares以及之后的作品集里
