The only sad thing about parenthood is --- and I mean there are at least a thousand good things about parenting that I counted sincerely last night - but only & ONLY ONE sad thing about this phase life is you are raising the one you can never live without to live without you. What inspires me to show up every day are my #parenting #goals - I have many parenting goals spread across the timeline for years - but I will share one here on #socialmedia today πŸ“† loki_life_style already knows it because he is living it all with me as my family - a father to our offspring sweetie & a husband to our postpartum cutie! πŸ”ΌπŸ”½β–ΆοΈβ—€οΈ This parenting goal is more of a long term, every day #connection & #action hai - it's a lifestyle & it's a choice πŸ’― I have experienced with my parents 🫠 & I have heard from almost everyone I know socially or otherwise that "you have done a good job as a parent if your kids want to hang out with you when they don't have to - when they're older." It's beautifully managed. It's simple. It's a hot mess & it's a divine chaos. Just like an ancient poem in the modern times is in the hand of someone so curious and loving that time gets filled with light & a shadow of knowledge guides the experience of life in love. Wisdom directs. I operate. It is a love story. It's a lot of work. It's so much gratitude. It's fun. It's nutritional. Wholesome. "Are you happy?" You ask. "I am, sometimes." I live for it. And until the time- It is a story of surrender & stupendous effortless effort. A journey of a soul - my mud filled hands rejoice in the job of shaping cultural values & purity. "They reduced you & limited your adventure." You announce "They did, sometimes." I move on from it.. I step into my own light; joy & self awareness leads my path.
