Lately I’ve been thinking…

Three years ago, all I wanted was to be this version of myself-this physique, these features, this mentality. I remind myself every single day when I look at myself in the mirror: this is what I worked for. Positive self-talk, every day y’all! I’ve been doing this since I was a kid, but over the years it got influenced by the voices of the society.. 

Over the past few years, I intentionally switched the narrative of the voice in my head-and it’s changed everything.

Every limit we think is the limit is just another level waiting to be unlocked. Last week, I pushed through what I thought was my highest limit and went even further.

Here’s how I’ve flipped the script over the years:

	•	“I can’t do it” ➡️ “If I don’t try, I’ll never know.”
	•	“I failed” ➡️ “I grew through it all!”
	•	“Why is everything happening to me?” ➡️ “What’s this situation trying to teach me? How can I turn this around?”
	•	“I give up” ➡️ “Will it kill me if I try? If not, let’s go!”
	•	“I’m not good enough” ➡️ “I’m loved, blessed, and worthy of all my dreams/goals.”
