03.01.22 I decided to move to Paris to pursue my life’s purpose of supporting my community and finding a solution for workplace discrimination faced by the LGBTIQA++ community. 

Financial stability and workplace discrimination are inextricably linked, and both have been shown to have a significant impact on our mental health. For my MA thesis, I spent two years conducting extensive research to find a technological solution to this problem that can reach a global audience, which I deeply care about. During this time, I also worked on my mental health and spiritual growth so that I am ready to stand strong for those who do not have a voice, to be able to provide equal opportunities to my community.

When I applied to euratechnologies , I never expected to be chosen because I felt it was too big for me.I kept looking at the application for 6 months before submitting, I did not believe I could make it. But I got accepted with in just two days, received my Talent Passport again in just 2 days.

Exactly five months ago, I left home. Leaving  my family, friends, community, and everything I had built over the previous 17 years because I crave to serve. Last few months have been the toughest I have had in my life. It took a village to get me through it.

But here I am today, meeting the Deputy Mayor of Paris to collaborate on helping the Sri Lankan and global LGBTIQA++ communities grow as individuals, as well as assisting global corporations in creating inclusive and regenerative workplace cultures. 

As much as I am excited and blessed to be working with Mr. jeanlucromero and his team, I hope that this will inspire and empower more change-makers from marginalized communities to pursue their life’s purpose, regardless of where they come from. 

We are the generation that was born to transform the world into what we believe it could be. 

This is only the beginning of the journey that’s yet to unfold.
