👀“People always ask how I eat so much and stay skinny.”

Here’s the truth: thin doesn’t automatically mean healthy.

Some normal-weight women store fat around their organs instead of under the skin.

⚠️This is called hidden (visceral) fat, and it’s far more dangerous.

Why?

Because visceral fat increases the risk of:

🫀 Heart disease

🩸 Type 2 diabetes

📈 Metabolic problems

Up to 30% of normal-weight women may have this and not even know it.

So why don’t they gain visible weight?

🔥Some people naturally burn more calories through small daily movements : fidgeting, pacing, posture shifts, a process called non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT).

But excess calories can still be stored internally.

The takeaway?

Health isn’t defined by the number on the scale.

Measure your:

📏 Waist circumference

📊 Waist-to-hip ratio

🧪 Blood work (glucose, lipids, insulin markers)

What’s happening inside matters more than what you see in the mirror.

Skinny ≠ automatically healthy.

💪Strong, metabolically healthy, and informed is the real goal.
