I recently tried Yeongwa, a traditional Korean sweet from the Joseon Dynasty. It originally meant “soft candy.” Today it is recreated in a modern way at Confectionary Haru projectharu.kr 

They use carefully selected local ingredients and combine them with milk and agar to create a soft and chewy texture that many people love. It feels like tasting a piece of Korean history with a modern luxury touch.
