Body shaming is often brushed off as “just culture” especially in Filipino families.
But when did commenting on someone’s body become acceptable?

In this video, I talk about going home to the Philippines, dealing with titas and aunties who love to nitpick appearances, and why not fitting a certain body standard doesn’t mean you’re unhealthy.

It’s time we normalize respectful conversations and redefine what healthy really looks like.
