I’m working on some Count Basie Orchestra countbasie and Carmen Bradford charts for their concert with the San Francisco Symphony sanfranciscosymphony next month. This is also a great excuse to study up on Frank Foster’s big band arranging and finding ways to translate this sound for strings 🤓
