🌸🌼🌸 insideoutsd is Hillcrest’s elevated restaurant and lounge and San Diego’s only urban oasis! 🌼 We had such a blast, leaving happy, giggling, and delightfully stuffed! 🌸🌼🌸

The menu, curated by Executive Chef Johnny Duran, is updated seasonally to reflect his creative approach to California-Mediterranean inspired fare, using the freshest ingredients. 

Here’s what we ate ~ 

🍚 Arancini ~ Italian risotto ball with saffron, lemon zest & fresh mozzarella cheese, served with puttanesca sauce
🥗 iO Caesar ~ artisan baby romaine hearts with homemade croutons, parmesan, fried artichoke hearts, oven dried tomato & house-made caesar dressing
🍄 Braised Beef ~ white cheddar polenta, foraged mushrooms, French onion demi-glaze, whole grain mustard
🍝 Bucatini ~ spring vegetables, smoked cauliflower soubise, cashew cream, calabrian chili, nutritional yeast
🥩 Australian Hot Stone Filet ~ signature 8 oz. aged angus filet mignon, served rare and cooked to your liking at your table
🍓 Mille Feuille ~ strawberries, turbinado sugar, freeze-dried strawberry powder, strawberry gel, chocolate & chèvre crémeux, strawberry crystallized sugar, rose & thyme strawberry broth
